About Our Church

Champion Presbyterian Church is a warm welcoming family of brothers and sisters in Christ.   Our beliefs are based on the Bible which we hold to be the inspired and authoritative Word of God.   Our mission is twofold:   To lead people to a personal knowledge of Jesus Christ as their Savior.   And to help people from all backgrounds grow in their faith and trust in Him.   We fulfill this mission through a variety of programs geared for all ages that are offered to members of our church and our community.

Worship – Sundays at10:00AM

As a Presbyterian congregation, our roots are in the Reformed tradition.  Therefore, the preaching of God’s Word is at the core of our worship experience.  You will hear God’s unchanging truth preached in a way that makes it very practical and relevant to your daily lives.  Our music on Sunday morning leans towards the contemporary Christian songs of today.    However, we blend that with special music offered by our traditional choir, chime choir, psaltery ensemble and children’s choir.   Children are very important to our congregation.   A nursery is provided for toddlers 3 and under.   Preschool and Elementary children are in worship until they hear a children’s message and then they depart worship for a Sunday lesson.   

Children's and Youth Ministry

Our church offers a multitude of activities and events for elementary children, middle and high school youth.  Our full-time childrens and youth director has year-round ministry including our Wednesday evening program with 40 kids attending, Bible Studies and many fun events.
